Late week storm update

Last night it was an very active night for severe weather. There was over 220 severe wx reports that be observed by the national weather service. Including tornadoes in five diffrent states. Central and Eastern OK got hit the most with a big hail core that delivered hail as large as baseballs. Multiple cars damaged by this hail and there was a report of a couple of people hurt due to the large heavy hail. An amazing 100 mile wide multi vortex tornadoes effected OSAGE,OK. As the storms left an incredible amount of damage storms in OK died out and out of the area. But that wasnt it there was lots of damage in the metro Kansas city area. A possible tornado and hook echo went thru and blasted them trough out the night. Lots of tree, powerlines and cars were thrown around that caused some dangerous situations.
Thankfully no one was killed in this area. Several supercells developed late last night in MO and delivered masterful and powerful damage in the path of destruction. What an crazy night was in stored.

Friday- Storms have busted right out of the gate but so far not much in the way of real severe wx events. That will change later this afternoon as the coldfront collides and more storms pop uo by sun light. Although so far we dont have much reports of severe wx there is several watches/warnings have been issued or much of AR,TN,MO,KY,IL,IN LATER TODAY. We did have dangerous storm cells that went through North Central AR that broguht a couple of tornadoes and dangerous softball siZed hail stones. A 15 year old girl was killed during that tornado when she was sleeping and a tree came down and crushed her to death. Expect more tornadoes this afternoon thru this evening. I will have another update every other 3 hours so stay tuned to severe wx tracking. here is myFriday outlook-

LATE WEEK STORM OUTLOOKS/ MAY SNOW

WED 715 PM

The severe weather action will get under way Thursday afternoon. A surface low pressure will strengthen over Nebraska/Kansas tonight. Brings showers and some storms to the Western high plains tonight-Thursday. Rain showers and storms will shift into Eastern NE and SW IA by THUR morning. Some of these storms will produce heavy rains, gusty winds excessive of 50 MPH and some small hail. More widespread showers and storms will arrive Friday as the slow moving storm tracks into the Centeral plains. As this big storm keeps going on, It will be OK/KS/MO time to deal with the messy conditions. Where a severe wx outbreak is still certainty possible Thursday night-Friday morning. As a strong upper low storm system will move in with a dry line and an cold front thru the Eastern KS border line. The latest indications are the storm system will be a bit slower to arrive. AS an mix of warm, moist,un stabled air mass will exist ahead of the boundaries with instabillity and atmospheric that are very favorable for mastive strong severe storms. This storm will move well east and bring areas of AR,MO,IL,IN,OH WILL BUY IN ON STORMS. Heres my outlook'
